Important AssetPath provides general information and scenario-modelling support. It does not provide personal financial, investment, tax, legal, credit, accounting, valuation, building, or insurance advice. Do not buy, sell, build, borrow, or sign a contract solely because of an AssetPath score, forecast, AI response, news item, map, or report.

1. Terms of use

By creating an account, using the website, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Payment / Refund Policy and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Risk Warning on this page. If you do not accept them, do not use a paid feature or continue to checkout.

You must be legally capable of entering a contract. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you enter, and activity carried out through your account. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape protected data, or reproduce proprietary reports, scoring presentation, interfaces, or content except as permitted by law.

We may update features, reasonable usage limits, third-party integrations, and these policies. Material subscription or policy changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. The policy version displayed at checkout applies to that checkout, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law.

2. What AssetPath provides

AssetPath offers property calculators, comfort and pressure indicators, suburb and regional data, watchlists, reports, workspace tools, market news, AI-generated explanations, and pathways to independent professionals. These tools organise information and help users test assumptions; they do not decide whether a property, loan, structure, or strategy is suitable for a particular person.

Outputs may be based on user-entered assumptions, public or licensed datasets, third-party feeds, historical observations, simplified rules, and automated models. Results are indicative estimates, not quotes, valuations, approvals, promises, or guarantees.

3. Property and investment risk warning

Property decisions can produce substantial gains or losses. The following is a broad, non-exhaustive summary of material risks. Risks may interact, change quickly, or arise in circumstances not listed here.

Market, price, and concentration risk

  • Property values, rents, yields, demand, and resale time can rise or fall and may differ materially from forecasts.
  • A suburb score or historical trend does not guarantee future performance.
  • Concentration in one property, suburb, state, property type, tenant market, lender, or economic sector can amplify losses.
  • Transaction costs and limited liquidity may make property difficult or expensive to sell quickly.

Finance, interest-rate, and cashflow risk

  • Interest rates, lending policies, valuations, serviceability rules, refinancing terms, and repayment amounts can change.
  • A lender may decline finance, lend less than expected, require additional security, or value a property below its contract price.
  • Vacancy, arrears, repairs, insurance, rates, body corporate fees, land tax, management costs, or unexpected expenses can create negative cashflow.
  • Offset balances and cash reserves may be spent, unavailable, or insufficient when conditions deteriorate.

Tax, duty, legal, and regulatory risk

  • Stamp duty, land tax, income tax, capital gains tax, GST, withholding, surcharges, deductions, and ownership rules depend on personal circumstances and can change.
  • Foreign-buyer approvals, surcharges, residency rules, ownership structures, trusts, companies, SMSFs, and joint ownership can materially alter costs and obligations.
  • Zoning, planning, tenancy, building, environmental, strata, heritage, short-stay, and lending rules may restrict use or reduce value.
  • Contracts can contain material conditions, deadlines, default rights, sunset clauses, variations, easements, covenants, defects, or settlement risks that the platform does not review.

Property, construction, and operational risk

  • Buildings may contain structural, water, fire, electrical, pest, contamination, cladding, maintenance, boundary, title, or compliance problems.
  • Construction may be delayed, varied, defective, underquoted, abandoned, or affected by builder insolvency, labour shortages, materials, approvals, weather, or supply chains.
  • Off-the-plan and house-and-land purchases may face valuation gaps, changing finance conditions, completion delays, and contract-structure risks.
  • Owners corporations and body corporates may impose special levies, increase fees, restrict use, or hold inadequate sinking funds.

Tenant, location, climate, and insurance risk

  • Vacancy, tenant damage, arrears, disputes, rent controls, changing tenant demand, and property-management failures can affect returns.
  • Crime, accidents, infrastructure changes, noise, traffic, school-zone changes, employment shocks, natural hazards, and local reputation can affect demand and liveability.
  • Flood, fire, cyclone, storm, heat, erosion, subsidence, contamination, and other climate or environmental risks may increase damage, premiums, exclusions, or uninsurability.
  • Insurance may not cover every event or full loss and may be subject to exclusions, excesses, limits, or non-renewal.

Personal and economic risk

  • Income loss, illness, family changes, migration status, currency movements, inflation, recession, unemployment, or unexpected expenses may reduce the ability to hold an asset.
  • International conflict, commodity shocks, policy changes, and financial-market disruption can affect rates, construction, migration, employment, and property demand.
  • A scenario that appears comfortable today may become unsuitable if personal circumstances or assumptions change.

Obtain independent finance, legal, tax, building, insurance, and appropriately licensed financial advice where relevant, and complete your own due diligence before committing capital.

4. Models, scores, data, news, and AI

  • Calculator results are sensitive to inputs and simplified assumptions. Small input changes can materially change an output.
  • Comfort scores, regional scores, stress tests, suggested suburbs, and classifications are decision-support indicators, not objective measures of suitability or safety.
  • Data may be delayed, incomplete, incorrectly classified, unavailable, or inconsistent across sources and locations.
  • News feeds may contain errors, opinion, duplication, irrelevant material, or changing links. A category label does not establish the importance or accuracy of an article.
  • Maps and boundaries are indicative and must not be used as cadastral, planning, flood, school-catchment, title, or legal boundary evidence.
  • AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, outdated, or fabricated. It may misunderstand a question or omit a material risk. Always verify material statements against primary sources and qualified professionals.
  • Past performance, modelled growth, forecast inflation, tax estimates, rental estimates, and scenario comparisons do not guarantee future outcomes.

AssetPath may change models and datasets as the product improves. Outputs produced at different times may therefore differ even where some inputs remain the same.

5. Partners, listings, and referrals

Partner profiles, categories, matches, and introductions are provided to help users find possible professional support. Inclusion, ranking, or an AI match is not an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or representation that a partner is suitable, licensed for every requested service, independent, available, or free from conflicts.

Some partners may pay listing, referral, sponsorship, white-label, lead, or other commercial fees to AssetPath. Where required, relevant commercial relationships should be disclosed. Users remain free to compare alternatives and choose their own professionals.

Any engagement is between the user and the professional. Check licences, qualifications, insurance, fees, scope, conflicts, and written terms directly with that professional.

6. Privacy policy

Information we may collect

We may collect account and contact details, profile images, authentication identifiers, subscription status, calculator and property inputs, watchlists, saved scenarios, partner selections, reports, AI prompts and responses, support requests, device and diagnostic information, and records of policy consent.

Why we use it

  • To create and secure accounts, provide purchased features, save workspace information, calculate outputs, and personalise relevant product views.
  • To process billing, confirm entitlements, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, improve the service, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
  • To send information or make a professional introduction when the user requests it.

Service providers and disclosure

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, AI processing, analytics, email, maps, and news. This currently includes services such as Netlify, Stripe, and AI model providers. Providers may process information in Australia or overseas under their own infrastructure and contractual terms. We do not sell personal information.

Public pages use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and general engagement. The implementation disables Google advertising signals and ad-personalisation signals, removes query strings and fragments from recorded page locations, and does not intentionally send calculator values, property inputs, email addresses, payment details, or AI prompts to Google Analytics. Analytics does not load when a browser sends an enabled Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

We may disclose information when the user directs us to, where reasonably necessary to provide the service, to protect users or the platform, or where required or authorised by law.

Storage, security, and user choices

Some preview or workspace information may be stored in the browser; authenticated features may store information in cloud services. No internet service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into free-text or AI fields.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, legal obligations, security, dispute handling, and backups. Email support@apintelligence.com.au to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to legal and technical limits.

7. Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation

  • Free, Starter, Plus, and Ultra provide different access levels. The current price, billing period, included features, and renewal terms are displayed before checkout.
  • Paid memberships renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, unless checkout expressly states otherwise.
  • Payments and card details are handled by Stripe. AssetPath does not store full card numbers on this website.
  • Members can use Subscription Management in My Workspace to change plans, view invoices, update payment details, or cancel through the secure Stripe portal.
  • Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation normally stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
  • Changing plans may result in immediate, prorated, deferred, or otherwise adjusted billing as displayed by Stripe before confirmation.
  • Reasonable usage limits may apply to AI and high-cost features. Material limits are shown in the product or plan description.

If billing management is unavailable, contact support@apintelligence.com.au using the email connected to the subscription.

8. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

To request a remedy, email support@apintelligence.com.au with the account email, plan, purchase date, issue, and requested outcome.

  • Change-of-mind refunds are not automatically provided after digital access has started, unless offered at checkout or required by law.
  • If a service is not supplied, is materially different from its description, or fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, we will assess the appropriate remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • For a minor service problem, we may first attempt to fix the problem within a reasonable time. A major failure may entitle a consumer to cancel and obtain a refund for the affected service as provided by law.
  • Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

9. Liability, third parties, and service availability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AssetPath is not responsible for a decision or loss caused by relying on an estimate, score, AI output, third-party article, partner statement, unavailable service, outdated data, user input error, or failure to complete independent checks. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under law.

Third-party sites, news publishers, maps, payment services, AI providers, and professional services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Links may change or become unavailable.

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, cyber incidents, network conditions, browser limitations, data updates, or events outside reasonable control may interrupt access. Users should retain copies of material reports and source documents needed for a decision.

10. Contact, complaints, and governing law

Questions, privacy requests, subscription issues, refund requests, and complaints can be sent to support@apintelligence.com.au. Include enough information for us to identify the account and investigate, but do not email card numbers or passwords.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that apply.

The effective date and policy version appear at the top of this page. Material updates will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
